The only key and difficult point in the medium pressure steam transformation project is how to improve the utilization rate of steam heat while ensuring the process temperature. If the utilization rate is high, the flow rate will be saved, and if the utilization rate is low, the flow rate will be wasted.

The heat of medium pressure superheated steam includes three parts: superheat heat, saturation phase change heat, and condensation heat. The superheat heat accounts for about 10% of the total heat, the saturation phase change heat accounts for about 70% of the total heat, and the condensed water heat accounts for about 20% of the total heat. From the above, it can be seen that most of the medium pressure steam is phase-change heat, also known as latent heat, and the saturation temperature is related to pressure. Therefore, one of the important indicators of medium pressure steam is pressure. The degree of superheat has little effect on the steam, but excessive superheat can actually affect the heating due to the poor thermal conductivity of superheated steam.

The method of steam direct discharge is that the medium pressure steam flows through the heat exchanger, is depressurized, and enters the water vapor separator before entering the low-pressure steam pipe network. such

Design scheme, due to high pressure and fast steam flow rate, the latent heat of steam may not be fully utilized before flowing out of the heat exchanger. The result is high flow rate and temperature difference.

2. Use a drain valve, as the steam pressure is high and the boiling point of water is also high, the state of water is below 230 degrees Celsius at a pressure of 3.0mPA

The condensed water at such high temperatures can still be utilized on the equipment. If a drain valve is used, the utilization rate of condensed water heat will be greatly reduced, and the flow rate will not be small. Moreover, under such working conditions, the failure rate of the drain valve is high, greatly increasing maintenance costs.

3. Using a throttle valve only limits the steam flow rate and ignores the production process, only in fixed processes and settings

The fabric only plays a certain role under the working conditions, and the flow rate basically depends on the size of the throttle valve opening. However, under long-term steam flushing, the size of the hole gradually increases, and the flow rate also gradually increases. 4. Save about 5% steam energy consumption compared to any peer machinery.

The above are the most commonly used solutions on the market, which rely on mechanical hardware to control flow and improve steam utilization. However, they are not ideal, and medium pressure steam requires very high hardware, greatly increasing the cost of use and maintenance.
