Each product has its own sales cycle, and printing machines are no exception. On a monthly basis, the end of each year and the period before the Spring Festival of the following year are the procurement periods for printing and dyeing enterprises. They formulate plans for purchasing new equipment by summarizing the sales situation of the year; However, based on the feedback from printing machine manufacturers, due to weak downstream demand this year, most printing and dyeing companies are adopting a wait-and-see attitude towards purchasing new machines. On an annual basis, some people believe that every three to four years is a sales cycle for printing machines. Many companies have reported surprisingly good sales last year, but this year happens to be the "turning point" after the sales peak, and a sharp decline in company sales is a common phenomenon.
With the continuous improvement of environmental protection requirements for printing and dyeing enterprises by the country and the increasing efforts to eliminate outdated production capacity, enterprises have gradually abandoned the production methods that used to cost environmental pollution. In addition to purchasing new equipment with stronger energy-saving and environmental performance, in order to meet various environmental requirements and obtain more profits from limited equipment, they also choose to upgrade and transform old equipment. It is reported that the transformed production capacity can be increased by more than twice compared to the past. At the same time, the demand for downstream textile products in China has not increased accordingly, so the sales of printing machines will experience a brief lull in the next 1-2 years.
Unlike the domestic situation, Southeast Asian countries and regions, known as emerging markets, have significant cost advantages and lower requirements for corporate environmental protection. Therefore, the global mid to low end printing and dyeing industry has also shifted here. Compared with products from countries such as Europe and America, domestic printing machines have strong performance and good cost-effectiveness. However, due to factors such as distance and time, the inability to provide high-quality after-sales service in a timely manner is a challenge when selling products overseas. However, some companies have developed new online systems that remotely monitor the operation of equipment, solving the concerns of user companies.
The transfer of mid to low end industries not only increases the overseas sales of domestic printing machines, but also forces domestic production enterprises to use more advanced equipment to produce higher end products, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of domestic printing machine production enterprises. Overall, enterprises must face the survival law of survival of the fittest, continuously develop new products on the path of high-end development, and always stay at the forefront of the industry.
